At this talk event, we invited professional mountain climber Hirotake Takeuchi,
The experience of climbing all 8000 14m peaks and the opportunity to "respect different cultures and diversity"
Starting with the story of climbing the Himalayas, Takeuchi himself is currently working on
We asked him about his efforts to address human rights issues facing minorities in Nepal.
We will think together about how to realize a multicultural society.
We will also welcome young Nepalese people living in the area to exchange opinions.
Tea (milk tea) and snacks are included.
Takeuchi's books will be on sale and there will also be a signing session after the show.

[Profile of Hirotaka Takeuchi]

Born in Tokyo in 1971. Visiting professor at Rissho University.
He is affiliated with Honey Communications Co., Ltd. He climbed Makalu (1995m) in 8463.
In 1996, he successfully climbed Mount Everest (8848 m) and K8611 (XNUMX m) consecutively.
He continues to challenge 8000m peaks with his fast-paced mountaineering style, actively incorporating alpine styles.
In 2012, he successfully climbed Dhaulagiri, the 14th mountain.
He became the 29th person in the world to summit all 8000 of the 14m peaks.
In 2013, he received the Uemura Naomi Adventure Award and the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology's Sports Merit Award.
Currently, while continuing to challenge unclimbed peaks, he is also making use of his mountaineering experience.
Supporting the independence of the socially vulnerable in Nepal, outdoor classrooms, disaster prevention awareness, etc.
We are also involved in social contribution activities.
His books include "The Philosophy of Descending: Descending to Climb"
