Coordinator wanted for project to support young people with foreign roots
The Toyonaka International Association's youth support program is holding a "Wakamono no tamarigama" (Young People's Gathering Place) to create a place where young people with foreign roots can have various experiences and build connections with others. Starting in July 2025, the frequency of events will be increased from once a month to four times a month, with the aim of creating a place where young people can further connect with each other and thrive in society. We are looking for coordinators who can help support young people with foreign roots so that they can live in peace and security without being isolated in this society.
[Number of participants] 2 people (any age)
[Qualifications] <Required> ・Those who can actively engage with young people with foreign roots. ・Those who can communicate sincerely with participants according to their personalities and ages.
<Welcome> Ability to communicate in languages other than Japanese.
・Those who want to learn about the social issues and backgrounds of young people with foreign roots.
- Someone who has a welfare perspective and can carefully build relationships with participants.
[Location] Toyonaka International Center
560-0026-1-1 Tamaicho, Toyonaka City, Osaka, 1-601 (directly connected to Hankyu Toyonaka Station, 6th floor, Etre Toyonaka)
[Working hours] Every Sunday 12:30-16:30 (including meetings before and after activities)
[Contents] Managing the space, implementing programs and responding to users.
・Cooking activities (menu selection, shopping) and dinner parties
・Games and sports such as UNO, The Game of Life, and billiards
・Manufacturing and creative activities
・Opening and participating in events, etc.
Other activities participants would like to do
[Remuneration] 1500 yen/hour (transportation expenses not included)
