Coordinator wanted for project to support young people with foreign roots
As part of the Toyonaka International Association's youth support program, we hold "Youth Gathering Point" to create a place where young people of foreign origin can have a variety of experiences and build connections with others.
Starting in July 2025, we will increase the number of meetings from once a month to four times a month, aiming to create a place where young people can further connect with each other and a society in which they can thrive. We are looking for coordinators who can help support young people with foreign roots so that they can live in this society without feeling isolated and with peace of mind.
[Number of participants] 2 people (any age)
[Qualifications] <Required> ・Applicants must be able to actively engage with young people with foreign roots.
- Someone who can communicate sincerely with participants according to their personalities and ages.
<Welcome> Ability to communicate in languages other than Japanese.
・Those who want to learn about the social issues and backgrounds of young people with foreign roots.
- Someone who has a welfare perspective and can carefully build relationships with participants.
[Location] Toyonaka International Center
560-0026-1-1 Tamaicho, Toyonaka City, Osaka, 1-601 (directly connected to Hankyu Toyonaka Station, 6th floor, Etre Toyonaka)
[Working hours] Every Sunday 12:30-16:30 (including meetings before and after activities)
[Contents] Managing the space, implementing programs and responding to users.
・Cooking activities (menu selection, shopping) and dinner parties
・Games and sports such as UNO, The Game of Life, and billiards
・Manufacturing and creative activities
・Opening and participating in events, etc.
Other activities participants would like to do
[Remuneration] 1500 yen/hour (transportation expenses not included)
