[Full House] Multicultural and Multilingual Seminar “Let’s get to know Islam!” ~Ibaraki Mosque Field Work''

Did you know that there are currently over 20 Muslims living in Japan, and that there are over 100 mosques, Islamic places of worship, across the country? In this seminar, we will visit a mosque in Toyokawa, Ibaraki City, and hear from two lecturers about what Islam values, the role of mosques, and issues in life in Japan, and think about coexistence with people of diverse religious backgrounds.


Date and time: Saturday, July 2023, 7

Capacity: 20 people (application required, first come first served)

Location: Osaka Ibaraki Mosque *Meet at the ticket gate of Toyokawa Monorail Station at 13:10

Mosques are sacred and important places for Muslims. Women should wear clothes that do not expose much skin and should bring a scarf.

Men should also refrain from wearing revealing clothing such as running shorts.
