Let's learn about Nepal's current situation - Social and political issues -

The Nepalese monarchy collapsed during the People's War from 1996 to 2006, and the country has since transitioned to a republic. Since then, society and people's lives have undergone dramatic changes as migration to foreign countries has become more common.
For this event, we will invite Ms. Kiyoko Ogura, who has lived in Nepal for the past 30 years and has observed the changes in the local people and society, to talk about current issues in Nepalese society and politics, including young people heading abroad and the current situation regarding the COVID-XNUMX pandemic.
The number of Nepalese people living in Japan is increasing year by year, but there is still much that is not known about the local situation, so this event will help you learn about their social background and promote mutual understanding.
