[We've reached capacity] Talk event: Talk with professional mountaineer Hirotake Takeuchi - Thinking about multicultural coexistence from the Himalayas: Welcoming young people from Nepal

[We have reached capacity]

At this talk event, we will invite professional mountaineer Hirotake Takeuchi to talk about his experience of climbing all 8000 of the 14m peaks and about Himalayan mountaineering as a place for "intercultural understanding and respect for diversity." We will then hear about his current efforts to address human rights issues facing minorities in Nepal, and together we will think about how to realize a multicultural society.
There will also be an exchange of opinions with young Nepalese people living in the area. Milk tea and snacks will be served. Takeuchi's books will be available for purchase, and there will be a book signing session after the performance.
Please come by all means.
