....Synopsis....

The Manhattan Project was a top-secret project launched in the United States during World War II.

As part of the U.S. government's Manhattan Project to accelerate nuclear development, J. Robert Oppenheimer was appointed chairman of the atomic bomb development project.

He led a group of talented scientists in the development of the atomic bomb.

However, when the atomic bomb that he had developed was dropped in combat, Oppenheimer became deeply distressed after hearing about the devastation.

The Cold War, the Red Scare... Oppenheimer was swept up in the waves of a turbulent era.
