Screening of the film "Voices, Gather Together" and talk with the cast

"Why do these people support Korean schools and stand alongside Korean residents in Japan?"

People who watch over children on their way to school to encourage them in a society where hate speech is rampant, people who take action rain or shine to oppose the exclusion of Koreans from the free high school education program, and people who donate hundreds of kilograms of rice every year to children at Korean schools.
This work visits people who support Korean schools from Hokkaido to Kyushu and interviews them about what motivated them to start their activities and their thoughts.

The main stage was filled with Japanese people supporting the small Shiga Korean School, which has 15 students.
The school's annual summer festival, "Uri Hakkyo Madan," attracts a diverse group of people, including Japanese, Korean residents in Japan, Brazilians, and Okinawans.
This documentary film depicts a hopeful future where people who live there create a diverse society through their own efforts, overcoming prejudice and discrimination.

"Why walk together with Koreans living in Japan?" This book depicts the reality of this issue.

After the screening, there will also be a talk by the cast members of the film.
