What do you do?

We regularly carry out a variety of activities in cooperation with the local community and schools, with a focus on creating spaces where foreigners can gather with peace of mind and promoting empowerment (restoring lost strength) (space creation), and nurturing people who will promote a multicultural society (human development).

Business Classification

The business activities are summarized into the following four areas:

OneCommunity development projects that respect diverse people

A social development project carried out in collaboration with the local community in order to transform majority society.

Specifically, these include support for citizen-led international exchange activities (Citizen-Led International Exchange Activities Promotion Project), support for a variety of Japanese language exchange activities with citizen participation (Adult International Project), dialogue and learning to enrich activities (Sustainable Community Development Project), provision of training opportunities (Sustainable Human Resource Development Project), and projects to broaden the base to target Japanese children and adults (Children's International Project, Multicultural Coexistence Promotion Project).

2Project to create a comprehensive system for marginalized foreigners

In order to guarantee the rights of minorities, this project aims to connect marginalized foreigners with keywords such as "security/empowerment" and "peer/role model" and create a system that prevents them from being socially excluded.

Specifically, these include providing life consultations for foreigners and building a network to resolve these issues (Adult Support Project), multicultural childcare and children's mother tongues to empower children with foreign roots, creating places for children to belong, Japanese language for children to ensure they can learn, and young people's hangouts (Multicultural Children's Empowerment Project).

3Connecting with schools to create a prosperous future

This project promotes multicultural coexistence by collaborating with local schools, which play an important role in nurturing the next generation.

Specifically, these include cooperating with the Toyonaka-style international education initiative promoted by the Toyonaka City Board of Education and implementing the elementary school foreign language experience program*1, which is being carried out at all elementary schools in Toyonaka City.

*1…This project is commissioned by Toyonaka City.

4Facility management contract business

As the designated manager of the Toyonaka International Exchange Center, we manage the facility.

Specifically, we are responsible for renting out rooms*2, accepting visitors, and running the Toyonaka International Center registered group system (providing support for registered groups).

*2…The rental fees are set separately for international exchange use and general use. We are the designated manager of the rental facilities and pay the rental fees to Toyonaka City.
